Integrity and honesty

Trust is the whole job.

• We never take anything from a client's home: no money, food, drinks, toiletries, or items they "wouldn't miss."
• We don't use a client's phone, computer, TV, pool, or belongings.
• If something breaks or spills, we report it immediately.
• Found valuables are left visible with a note.
• Time and work reports are accurate.
• We don't accept side jobs from Honey & Ivory clients.

Discretion and privacy

What we see stays in the home.

• We never photograph clients, family members, guests, documents, mail, or personal items.
• Photos of finished work are for internal records only and are never posted without written permission.
• Gate codes, alarm codes, and keys are stored only in our secure system: never written on paper, never shared, never labeled with an address.
• We don't open drawers, closets, or cabinets unless cleaning them is on the checklist.
• We assume cameras may be present and act accordingly.
• We never discuss one client with another.

Respect for the home

We are guests every visit.

• We wear clean, indoor-only shoes or shoe covers.
• Everything we move is returned exactly as we found it.
• We follow every preference on file.
• Pets are treated kindly and kept where the client wants them.
• Before leaving, we confirm doors are locked, windows closed, lights and fans set as found, the alarm armed, and keys secured.
• We keep noise low and our presence calm, especially when clients work from home.

Clean you can see, and clean you can't

• Top to bottom, dry to wet, cleanest to dirtiest.
• Color-coded microfiber, so a bathroom cloth never touches a kitchen surface.
• Fresh cloths and mop pads for every home. Nothing is carried from one house to the next.
• HEPA-filter vacuums.
• High-touch surfaces (handles, switches, faucets, remotes) are disinfected with proper contact time.
• Our own equipment is cleaned and inspected at the end of every day.

Right product, right surface

The wrong chemical can damage a finish or create risk.

• Natural stone gets only pH-neutral stone cleaner. Never vinegar, lemon, bleach, or abrasives.
• Hardwood and luxury vinyl get a barely damp mop with floor-safe cleaner. No steam mops or standing water.
• Stainless steel is cleaned with the grain. Glass gets a dedicated cloth.
• We never mix chemicals, and every bottle is labeled.
• Safety Data Sheets are on file, and team members are trained on them.
• We ventilate, store products out of reach of children and pets, and leave nothing behind.

Reliability and walkthrough

• We arrive prepared and on time, and we communicate if anything changes.
• The full checklist is completed.
• Every visit ends with a walkthrough as if we were the client.

Safety

• We work safely for clients, pets, and each other.
• We stop when something isn't safe.
• We look out for our teammates.

Accountability

• We own our mistakes and help make them right.
• The signed Pledge is kept on file.
• These standards apply to the owners first, and to every person who cleans on behalf of Honey & Ivory.
