Inviting us into your home or business is an act of trust. This policy explains what information Honey & Ivory Cleaning ("Honey & Ivory", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, honeyivorycleaning.com, our forms, text messages, emails, phone calls and cleaning services.

Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
Information from others
We may receive information from people who refer you to us, from payment processors confirming a payment, and, for job applicants only, from background check providers after you've given separate written permission.
2. How we use your information
- To prepare estimates and quotes, and schedule walkthroughs and cleanings
- To carry out your checklist and remember your preferences from visit to visit
- To assign and send the right team members, and give them the access details they need for your visit
- To send appointment reminders, arrival notices, invoices, receipts, tip links and satisfaction surveys
- To answer questions, handle requests and resolve any concerns
- To send specials and offers, only if you've agreed to receive them
- To review the quality of our work, train our team and improve our services

3. Text messages
If you opt in to texts, we use your mobile number to send the types of messages you chose: service and appointment texts, specials and offers, or job applicant texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Full details are in our SMS / Text Message Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only exception is the text messaging service provider that delivers our messages for us, which may use this information only to send our messages.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as follows:
- Our team. Team members and the owners see only the information they need to serve your home or business.
- Service providers who help us run the business and are allowed to use your information only to provide their service to us. These may include our website host, form processor, email provider, scheduling and customer-management software, text messaging provider, payment processor (such as Stripe), survey tools, bookkeeping and accounting software, and our insurance provider if a claim is made.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, court order or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, team or others.
- Business changes. If Honey & Ivory is sold or merged, client records may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
- With your permission in any other case, for example when you ask us to coordinate with a property manager or rental host.
5. Your home, access codes and photos
- Gate codes, lockbox codes, alarm details and keys are confidential. They are shared only with the team members assigned to your visit, stored in secured systems, and never written on paper left in vehicles.
- Please don't send full alarm codes or card numbers by regular text or email. We'll agree on a secure way to share them.
- We don't photograph you, your family, guests, documents, mail, screens or personal belongings.
- We may take photos of completed work, damage we find, or issues to report (such as a leak) to document the job. These are kept in our records only. We will never post photos or describe your home publicly, including on social media, without your written permission.
- We respect home security cameras and assume they may be recording. Please let us know if you have cameras in areas we clean.
- Team members do not discuss one client's home or life with another client.
6. Payments and tips
Card payments and optional tips are processed by our payment processor (such as Stripe). Your full card number goes directly to the processor and is never stored by Honey & Ivory. We keep records of amounts paid, invoices and receipts for accounting and tax purposes. Tips are passed on to the team members who cleaned for you.
7. Job applicants
When you apply to work with us, we collect the information on our application, such as your contact details, availability, experience, work preferences and references. We use it only to evaluate your application, contact you and, if you join us, to manage our working relationship. We never ask for Social Security or bank details on our website. Background checks are run only after you receive a separate disclosure and sign a written authorization, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our website doesn't use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. We may use privacy-friendly analytics that count visits and show which pages are useful, without building profiles of individual visitors. Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because it doesn't track you across other websites.
9. How long we keep it

10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including password-protected and access-limited systems, sharing access details only with the assigned team, and choosing reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you as required by Florida law (section 501.171, Florida Statutes).
11. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything that's wrong or out of date

12. Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Applicants must be at least 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
